WordPress maintenance and development are not the same thing

The Hosting Pro plan includes scoped standard WordPress maintenance. Anything that is development is quoted separately, before it starts.

Maintenance covers the agreed list, not “everything about the site”. For any work outside the scope you receive a quote to approve before it starts.

Assisted WordPress migration

The transfer starts with a check and ends with an acceptance test: the DNS switch happens only once the tests pass.

  1. Installation check

    We analyse versions, plugins, theme, size and critical points; the initial check is included in the Plus plan.

  2. Clone and staging test

    We copy the site to our environment and verify the essential functions with you on a shared checklist.

  3. Agreed cutover with a rollback plan

    We switch DNS in an agreed window; if anything fails the tests, we return to the original environment.

  4. Final check and handover

    We check site, mail and certificates and deliver the updated environment dossier.

WordPress hosting FAQs

Who performs WordPress updates?

With Hosting Pro, we do, in agreed windows and with rollback. With Start and Plus they remain your responsibility; with Plus you can test them in staging before applying them to production.

What happens if an update breaks the site?

Within the Pro scope the update is tested in staging first and, if production checks fail, we roll back to the previous version and document what happened in the operations log.

Do you migrate my WordPress site?

Yes: assisted migration with a clone, staging acceptance test and rollback plan. Cleanup of pre-existing infections is not included and is quoted separately.

Can I install any plugin?

Yes, in your account and within the plan's resources. Plugins with intensive loads — heavy search, aggressive cron jobs, complex builders — may require an assessment or a move to a dedicated Cloud VM.

Does maintenance include site development?

No: maintenance covers a scoped list of recurring activities. New features and code changes are quoted separately, before starting.
