Check domain name availability in real time
Type the name, pick the extension and run the check: we query the official registry in real time over RDAP, the registries' public lookup protocol. If the name appears available, you can request registration and receive a written offer.
Real-time check against the official registry (RDAP protocol). The result is not a reservation: availability and price are reconfirmed before registration. VAT excluded.
How to read the availability results
The check returns one of these four results. For each one we explain what it means and what you can do.
The registry found no registration for that name at the time of the check. You can request registration and we send you a written offer with the first-year and renewal prices. It is not a reservation: until registration is complete, anyone can still register the name. If a name is premium or subject to special registry rules, we flag it in the offer.
The name is already registered. You can try another extension or a different name; if the domain is yours but registered elsewhere, the right path is a transfer, not a new registration.
The extension's registry did not respond in time or does not offer a public automated lookup. It does not mean the name is free or taken: write to us, we check availability ourselves and confirm the result with the offer.
The request did not complete because of a temporary network issue, or because many checks were run in a short time: an hourly limit protects the service. Try again in a few minutes. If the name is flagged as invalid, use only letters, numbers and hyphens, without the extension.
